Glaucoma

Glaucoma is an eye condition that results from increased Intra Occular pressure that causes damage to the optic nerve thus causing a decrease in Vision.

If left untreated it is a potentially blinding condition that leads to permanent damage and loss of vision.

The disease is diagnosed with history, examination of the eye and field testing involving OCT scan and perimetry.

Treatment involves use of pressure lowering drops and surgical procedures in certain cases.

I offer treatment for glaucoma and provide necessary treatment and long term follow ups as this is a life long condition and requires continued monitoring.
