Refractive Surgery

Laser Eye Surgery is a procedure performed to permanently remove glasses for spectacle free vision. The surgery involves application of eximer laser on the corneal surface to reshape the anterior corneal surface and neutralising the refractive errors.

Ths surgery can be done for Myopes with Minus Refractive Errors & Hypermetropes with Plus refraction.

There are two types of Refractive Surgery procedures commonly performed.

Before surgery a thorough history is taken followed by occular examination & corneal scans. The process is pain free, done under topical anesthesia & completes in 10 to 15 mins.
